How Water Maze Systems Treat and Recycle Pressure Washer Water Used to Clean Heavy Equipment

ater Maze CL-600 water treatment system is designed to treat oily wash-water so it can be discharged to the sanitary sewerA dual approach to cleaning heavy equipment ensures the most effective wastewater treatment for this application.

This is one of the most common applications for high-pressure cleaning equipment and wastewater treatment systems. Pressure washers are popular in construction yards, rental centers, mining operations, heavy equipment manufacturers, etc., where there is an abundance of mud-splattered heavy equipment.

  • Problem: How do you treat wash-water, now laced with oil and grease, when it is caked in all that mud, dirt and clay?

  • Solution: Water Maze approaches this problem from two angles. First, deal with the heavy solids. This is accomplished in the design of the wash pad and pit system. Create a pre-wash pad where the dirt and mud are knocked off with a heavy dose of water at low pressures. The Water Maze Water Blaster (also known as a water cannon), with a flow of 25 GPM, is ideal for knocking off mud and heavy dirt loads. The Water Maze Pit Management System is also effective for odor control. Following pre-treatment, the heavy equipment is moved to a second pad where it is blasted with hot, high-pressure spray from the pressure washer. A variety of Water Maze technologies can be used to treat the resultant oily waste stream, including mechanical filtration, bioremediation and electrocoagulation.see more...
